The Burnley Best TT Club Grand Prix competition for 2015 kicked off this week with all 4 Raptors team mates battling it out in the semi-finals. Dylan Storey and Richard Tokeley were victorious at this stage making for an enticing final. Dylan’s route was hard fought beating Darren Wright 3-2 in the first round and Rob Tokeley 3-1 in the semi. Richard’s route was by no means easy but two 3-0 victories against Harry Charalambous and Liam Walsh were well deserved and making an on form Richard favourite for the win. This however wasn’t to be the case as Dylan took a seemingly comfortable 3-0 win to give him the first 10 points of the year.

A Grand Prix Doubles event was also played alongside the singles this week. An epic final between Dylan Storey/Liam Walsh and Harry Charalambous/Jim Balmforth was incredibly exciting to watch with Harry being his usual exuberant self. The young Raptors team mates fought off an ever catching Harry ‘concentrate’ Charalambous and Jim ‘I am concentrating’ Balmforth to win 3-2.
