Match Report Grand Prix 23 – The Final

The 2014 Grand Prix Tournament finished in style with double points on offer with first round losers being given a second chance at glory, albeit not for double points.

Second placed Dylan Storey had his sights on first place however a defeat to fellow team mate Liam Walsh in the first round and later injury in the semi final against Rob Tokeley would mean Dylan had to resign to second place this year. The second semi final with Jordan Moore versus Richard Tokeley was a close match with Jordan grasping victory in a 3-2 battle with the last game finishing 11-9. After a great recent run of form Rob Tokeley made it to the final for the first time but couldn’t quite get the measure of an on form Jordan, a great final which ended 3-1 to Jordan. As a result of making it to the final, Rob Tokeley was the big mover in the table, jumping up from 10th to joint 7th with Jack Cooney.

The top 3
1st – Jordan Moore was crowned victorious having won 10 of the 23 Grand Prix events this year, well played Jordan!
2nd – Dylan Storey was a well deserved second with 7 Grand Prix wins.
3rd – Richard Tokeley finished 3rd with 2 Grand Prix wins.

An honourable mention to Liam Walsh (4th) and Harry Charalambous (5th) who also won 2 Grand Prix events.

A big thanks to everyone who came down and took part this year. Here’s looking forward to the Grand Prix 2015.
